Importing from ShootProof, Zenfolio, or anywhere else
Found at Studio Migration Wizard, near the bottom of your sidebar -- turns your old platform's own export ZIP into real, organized galleries here, automatically.
Every major gallery platform lets you download all your own photos as one ZIP file (usually a "Download All" or "Export" button in your account settings). This tool never logs into your old account or asks for its password -- it only reads the ZIP file you already have, and only in your own browser. The ZIP itself is never sent to Image Depot's servers; just the individual photos, the same way a normal upload works.
- Select your ZIP fileClick the upload box and choose the file. Nothing happens yet -- this just reads it.
- Review what we foundEach top-level folder in your ZIP becomes its own gallery, named after the folder. Uncheck anything you don't want, or rename a gallery before importing -- you can always rename it again later.
- Apply a preset (optional)If you have a Gallery Preset set up, you can apply it to every gallery this import creates in one click, instead of setting each one up by hand afterward.
- Start the importPhotos upload one at a time with a live progress bar. You can close the tab and come back later -- reopening this page and picking the same ZIP again skips anything already imported instead of starting over.
This only brings over your photos and folder structure -- client lists, order history, and pricing still need the manual steps on how to switch to Image Depot.
