Uploading photos

Drag and drop your photos directly into a gallery -- there's no cap on how many you can upload.

There is no photo-count limit on any plan. What actually limits you is your plan's storage quota -- see managing storage and archiving for the real numbers and what to do if you're close to yours.

Every photo is checked on the way in: its real file type is read from the file itself, so a file that isn't really a photo is turned away, and a photo that's already in the gallery is skipped instead of stored twice.

The first time you upload in a gallery, you may be asked whether to apply one of your Gallery Presets -- it's optional and only shows once per visit to that gallery. Skip it and nothing changes.
