Image Watch: checking for stolen or copied photos

A paid add-on that searches the web for one photo at a time, so you don't have to do it by hand.

Available on Solo, Pro, Studio, and Agency plans -- $9.99/mo. Not available on Free or Starter.

How to run a search

  1. Open any photo's menuFrom inside a gallery, use the menu on a photo and choose "Search the web for this image."
  2. Click "Search the web"Image Depot sends that photo's preview image to Google's image-recognition service and asks what it can find.
  3. Review the resultsEvery result starts as "Needs review" -- you decide what, if anything, to do about each one.
This is on-demand and per-photo only -- it is not a continuous or automatic scan of your whole library. Nothing runs unless you click "Search the web" on that specific photo. It also only searches the open web; it does not compare against other studios' galleries on Image Depot.

The three result tiers, honestly

Results come back weakest to strongest -- these labels are deliberately careful, because this tool surfaces automated technical evidence, not a legal determination:

Some searches turn up nothing at all; others turn up only "Visually Similar" noise. That's a real search result, not a broken feature. For each result showing a "Confirm" / "Dismiss" pair of buttons, use them to mark whether you've verified it's actually your photo -- this just tracks your own review status and doesn't take any action on your behalf.

Image Watch never makes a copyright or legal determination for you, and a result is never proof by itself -- review each link yourself before taking any action. If you do find a real unauthorized use, see filing a DMCA takedown for the actual next step.

Limits

Up to 50 searches per rolling 30-day period per studio, regardless of plan.

Subscribing and cancelling

Subscribe from Plan & Billing › Add-ons. Cancelling stops future renewal, but you keep access through the period you already paid for -- there's no refund for the current period, and access simply doesn't renew once that period ends.
