Getting started

The real path from sign-up to your first client seeing a gallery, in the order the dashboard actually walks you through it.

  1. Create your free accountNo credit card required. Free gives you 3 active galleries and 2GB of storage to try the real product before paying anything.
  2. Create your first galleryFrom the dashboard, start a new gallery -- name it, set an event date, and pick your grid layout. Shooting a tournament or a multi-team event? Use Tournaments to bulk-create a whole batch of galleries from one form instead of one at a time.
  3. Upload your shootDrag in your photos. Every file is content-verified on the way in, and a watermarked preview is generated automatically if you turn watermarking on in the gallery's settings -- full-resolution originals are never served publicly.
  4. Set up protection and pricing (optional)Turn on watermarking and screenshot protection under the gallery's Photo Protection settings, and attach a price sheet if you want to sell prints and digital downloads directly from the gallery.
  5. Connect Square (optional, for selling)Link your own Square account under Payments so client purchases settle straight to your bank. Image Depot never touches the money, and it's 0% commission the moment you're on a paid plan.
  6. Share the linkEvery gallery gets its own URL immediately -- share it directly, or point clients to your branded Portfolio Website if you've set one up.

From here: Grow Your Business covers referrals, your Portfolio Website, and selling; Manage Your Team covers adding crew members once you're not shooting solo.
