Setting up your portfolio website

A public page showcasing your galleries, available on every plan -- including Free.

  1. Go to Portfolio WebsiteIn your dashboard sidebar. The page is split into tabs, one for each part of your site.
  2. Turn it on and pick a URL slugOn the Basics tab. Your portfolio is reachable at a real Image Depot subdomain by default.
  3. Add a headline and welcome messageAlso on Basics. Shown at the top of your portfolio home page.
  4. Choose how it looksOn the Look & feel tab: your logo, a hero photo, a style and your colors.
  5. Organize galleries into categoriesOn the Categories tab. Optional -- galleries with no category still show up, grouped separately.
  6. Turn on an About page and/or Contact formOn the Pages tab. Optional add-ons for your portfolio site.

Settings on the Basics, Look & feel and Search & social tabs save together: click Save changes in the bar at the bottom of the screen. It turns blue and says "You have unsaved changes" until you do. Uploads, like your logo or hero photo, and the extra pages each have their own button.

On a free Student account, your portfolio shows your first name and last initial (like "Alex R.") by default, not your full name. See your name on your public pages.
