Seeing who downloaded what
Every time a photo is downloaded from one of your galleries -- a free download or one someone paid for -- it's recorded. So is every download of a video someone bought.
Where to find it
- Downloads page -- under Galleries in your sidebar. Every download across all your galleries, newest first, with a filter by gallery and by free or purchased.
- Your dashboard -- the Gallery Engagement table has a Downloads column; click a number to see that gallery's downloads.
- An order's page -- each downloadable item lists every time it was downloaded, and whether the customer also grabbed the same photo free from the gallery.
What's recorded
For each download: the date and time (shown in your own time zone), the gallery and photo, who downloaded it (the customer's email for a purchase, or the email a visitor gave your gallery's email sign-in), the kind of device and browser, the approximate location (city, region, ZIP code), the internet provider, and the IP address.
Location comes from the visitor's internet connection, so it's approximate -- usually the right city, not an exact address. Device and location are recorded for downloads from September 27, 2026 on; older free downloads show the first time each visitor downloaded each photo.
